Suitable for offset and flexographic printing. The structure of corrugated cardboard contains two to seven layers, which makes it 4mm thick and even more, and it is also the thickest paper material. Thicker fibers such as wood pulp and waste paper are used for its manufacture. For special needs, thanks to the use of chemical additives and fillers it becomes more resistant to loads, contact with water and deep freezing. Corrugated cardboard can be processed in several ways, e.g. by coating it with food foil, for contact with food. There are several types of cardboard: white, brown (grey), technical, coated and several other types. The most popular are E and B waves, as well as mixed BC and EB waves. There is also a CB wave, but it is rather rarely used. The EB wave is used especially in the production of large-size packaging. Corrugated cardboard is most often used in food packaging, catering, confectioneries and pizza houses.
